The Rt Hon Nigel Evans

Nigel Evans had a distinguished 32-year career as a Member of Parliament, including seven years as Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons. He also led the programme board overseeing the multi-billion-pound restoration of Parliament. 


During his time in government, Nigel served as a Parliamentary Private Secretary in several departments under Prime Minister John Major and as a Shadow Opposition Minister. 


He is a former Chair of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, a former Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and a former member of the Council of Europe. He also served as Vice Chair of the International Trade Select Committee and is a recognised expert in foreign affairs. 


Nigel brings extensive experience in crisis management and high-level political strategy.
